A Medical Student from Mahidol University, Ms. Saranrut Phetkong, Visited the Medical AI Research and Development Center

Ms. Saranrut Phetkong, a fourth-year medical student at Mahidol University, Thailand, visited the Medical AI Research and Development Center of the Hokkaido University Hospital on April 18, 2023, while she was staying at the Hokkaido University as part of her training program.

Ms. Saranrut, who had always been interested in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Transformation (DX), met with Dr. Jun NAKAYA (Specially Appointed Professor) and Dr. Kenji HIRATA (Associate Professor) at the Center and discussed their views on the future of Artificial Intelligence development on a global scale.

It is one of our missions to ensure that medical AI research and development happening at the Hokkaido University to be recognized internationally.
To do so, we will continue to seek for opportunities such this to exchange and interact with researchers from all over the world.
