Development and Utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Multidimensional Medical Applications of Hot Springs and Bath Additives

In recent years, scientific research on hot springs has advanced, and the medical recognition of the therapeutic effects of hot springs has evolved. However, conclusive evidence is rarely presented, and because numerous factors influence the effects of hot springs, scientifically proving these effects remains challenging. Therefore, we aim to investigate the medical benefits of hot springs through big data analysis utilizing rapidly advancing artificial intelligence (AI). Specifically, we seek to address the issue of poor interpretability and insufficient validation of AI-derived analysis results, which stems from the “black-box” nature of AI. To resolve this, we aim to develop and apply a “multidimensional, multi-layered vector inference system” that can estimate the preventive and therapeutic effects of hot springs in a comprehensible and interpretable manner.
