【Hybrid Symposium】The Fourth Clinical AI Human Resources Development Program Annual Symposium will be held on 15th of February 2024

Our country faces numerous medical challenges, including an aging society, the uneven distribution of medical professionals, and working style reforms. To create solutions, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology has established an educational hub for the project “Advanced AI Research and Development for Solving Global×Local Medical Issues” led by Tohoku University, in collaboration with Hokkaido University and Okayama University, the initiative aims to cultivate talents who can curate unique regional medical challenges and design AI-based solutions. Furthermore, a diverse and collaborative system involving research institutions, private companies, and local governments has been established.

In its fourth year, there has been a significant increase in the number of students registered at each university, leading to notable achievements such as presentations and awards at academic conferences and in publishment of research papers.

This year’s Annual Symposium will present the progress of program and introduce cutting-edge technologies of medical AI.
